Coffee shop promotes Việt Nam to Japanese

A Vietnamese coffee shop was inaugurated in Toranomon district, Tokyo on November 5 to popularise Việt Nam and its images.

The shop is jointly operated by the national flag carrier Việt Nam Airlines, the Japan Tourist Bureau (JTB) and Travel Cafe company.

Addressing the inauguration, JTB President Toru Ikuta said the shop will serve as a comfortable lounge for those who come to book tours to Việt Nam as well as those want to try Việt Nam’s famous coffee and cuisine.

Nguyễn Minh Hải, chief of Việt Nam Airlines representative office in Japan said the joint project with JTB and Travel Coffee is part of a programme aiming at luring more Japanese visitors to Việt Nam.

Visitors to the shop will have a chance to enjoy Việt Nam ’s coffee and a range of popular dishes like noodle soup (phở) or baguette.
